Aleanor “Cricket” Gaston was born July 3, 1967, to the parentage of the now late Eddie Marie Boyd and David Thompson. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and was a member of Hebrew Israelite Temple, Mt. Pleasant, Texas.Aleanor earned her Certified Nurse Aide License and worked in the nursing profession for twenty plus years. She worked five plus years in Home Health, and four years as a custodian. On January 24, 2023, at Titus Regional Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Aleanor transition from labor to reward. She will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Johnny Gaston, of Mt. Pleasant, TX; daughters, Samone Dawson, and husband, D’Michael, of Mt. Pleasant, TX; Kastarya Beard, Ft. Worth, TX; sons, David Thomas, of Mt. Pleasant, TX; Corey Gaston, wife, Cherry, of Charleston, South Carolina; ten grandchildren, sisters, Gwendolyn Abrams, of Daingerfield, TX; Helen Ross, of Mt. Pleasant, TX; Gracy May Boyd, of Dallas, TX; brother, James Ray Boyd, of Ft. Worth, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, of cousins, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Marie Boyd and David Thompson, two sisters, Joyce Ann Grant, Willie Mitchell, three brothers, Archie Boyd, Lee Field Boyd, and Eddie Ray Boyd
