Anne Ruth (Stanberry) Mitchell

Annie Ruth (Stanberry) Mitchell was the fourth child born June 30, 1941 to the late Jo D. and Louvella (Hardeman) Stanberry.

She was a graduate of Frederick Douglass High School and was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Stephen A.M.E. Church, Pittsburg, Texas until her health began to fail.

On November 12, 1966 she married the love of her life, Billy Alfred Mitchell. To this union one son was born, Marcus Mitchell.

Ann is survived by nephew, Barry (Karon) Stanberry of Mt. Pleasant, TX, nieces, Kimberly (Curtis) Hamilton, and Michelle Smith, of Pittsburg, TX; Carolyn Smith of Euless, TX; Toby (Louis) Murzone, of Forney, TX; nephews, Mark Stanberry, of Pittsburg, TX; Michael Scott, of Dallas, TX; and Courtney Stanberry, of Mt. Pleasant, TX; several great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
