Billy Doddy

Billy Ray Doddy known as “Joe” was born November 28, 1956 to the late O.W. Doddy and Lessie B. Johnson. He attended Daingerfield - Lone Star ISD and grew up in Cason, Texas.

In May 1979, Joe married the love of his life, Kheryl “Kay” Doddy. Together, they shared 44 years of marriage and had two children. He worked many of years at Pilgrim’s Pride before his health declined. Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising pit bulls.

He leaves to cherish his memories; Daughter: Tonya Doddy Woodson of Forney, TX and son: Billy Doddy (Tamra) of Pittsburg, TX; two grandchildren Gavin Woodson and Tristan Doddy; Sisters: Mary Ruth Woods (Mickey), Patricia A. Linwood, Shawnita Emery Doddy, Wendy Emery Doddy, Cassandra Emery Doddy, Jacqueline Kemp Doddy, and Christina Fridia; Brothers: Otis W. Doddy (Stephanie), James H. Linwood (Wilma), James L. Linwood Jr , James A. Linwood, Jimmy Fridia, Matthew Fridia and Steven Fridia. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
