Billy Joe Prince

Brother Billy Joe Prince, Sr. was born November 26, 1949, to Larry Prince, Jr. and Georgia Stevenson Prince in Gilmer, Texas. He graduated from Bruce High School, Gilmer, Texas and was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ, Leesburg, Texas.

He worked at the Post Office in El Paso, Texas for many years, and retired from the United States Army after serving his country during the Vietnam era. He married Jacqueline Duffey and to this union, no children were born. Brother Prince passed away October 12, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Jacqueline Prince of Pittsburg, TX; two sons, Billy Joe Prince, Jr. of Tyler,

TX; Gregory Prince of Kentucky; two grandsons, Jamyrion White of Longview, TX; Elijah Prince of Tyler, TX; two stepdaughters, Dekita Rhymes of Pittsburg, TX; Tinnie Flowers of Longview, TX; three sisters, Barbara Hawkins, Alice Prince, and Diane Prince of Gilmer, TX; one brother, Edward Prince of Gilmer, TX; and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, aunts, and uncles.
