Mrs. Cynthia Annette Birdine was born August 18, 1957 to the parentage of Mr. Arvist Wright and Mrs. Elizabeth Asberry in Pittsburg, Texas. At an early age, she joined St. Stephen A.M.E. Church Pittsburg, Texas and graduated from Pittsburg High School, being a proud graduate of the Class of 1975. Afterwards, she attended East Texas University, Commerce, Texas for furthering her nursing career and later graduated from Texas Woman’s University, Denton, Texas with her nursing degree in the year of 1980.
On January 10, 1981, she married Mr. Glenn Edward Birdine, Sr. and to this union, three sons were born, Glenn Edward Birdine, Jr. Gerald Lynn Birdine, and Garrick Christopher Birdine. She was employed as a labor and delivery nurse at Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas for over 42 years. She loved her job as it takes a special person with a loving and caring heart. Mrs. Birdine passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Glenn Edward Birdine, Sr. of Dallas, TX; three sons, Glenn Edward Birdine, Jr. of Pittsburg, TX; Gerald Lynn Birdine of Dallas, TX; and Garrick Christopher Birdine of Arlington, TX; eight grandchildren, two God children, Deshun Helm of Houston, TX; Synari Soto of Arlington, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arvist and Elizabeth Wright, two brothers, Norman Asberry, Darryl Lynn Wright and two sisters, Glenda Rochelle Wright and Lean Mae Asberry.
