Donathy Wayne Doddy

Donathy Wayne Doddy was born on March 24, 1961, to Della Mae Rogers and O.W. Doddy. He attended Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Texas. Wayne worked diligently and received his diploma in 1979. This was a major accomplishment. He was a faithful member of Disciple Central Community Church in Dallas, Texas where he served as an Usher and faithful member. He was a faithful servant to his Lord and loved his church family. Wayne was employed at Gus Presley Warehouse in Mount Pleasant, Texas 1978-1979. He later moved to Dallas, Texas and worked at Minyard’s in Coppell, Texas, American Freight which later became FEDEX in Irving, Texas. Wayne’s last place of employment PRS (Pallet Repair Service) in Hutchins, Texas 2015-2022.

We all know Wayne was a man of many talents, just to list a few: Motorcycle Escort, Yard Doctor, a great dancer and great cook. He was always at the right place at the right time to help anyone in need. Favorite Football Team: Pittsburgh Steelers. (Boy, he loved those Steelers)

Wayne leaves two children to cherish his memories; Daughter: Danielle Doddy and Son: Deandre Doddy; Two Grandchildren: Deandre Doddy, Jr. and Draco Doddy; Brothers: Otis Wesley Doddy, Jr. (Stephanie), Ronald Doddy, Billy Doddy (Kay); Sisters: Mary Ruth Woods (Mickey), Shawnitta Emery Doddy, Wendy Emery Doddy, Jacqueline Kemp Doddy; Special Aunts, Julia Rogers and Palestine Lewis; Special Friend, Rosie Daniels; God Brother: Dyrike Shaw; Bonus Children: Sharay Mitchell (four kids), Shanay Traylor (two kids), and Valerie Harris (two kids); Bonus Grandkid; Rondo Jackson, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Della Mae Rogers, father: O.W. Doddy; maternal grandmother; Susie Mae Rogers; paternal grandmother: Ruth Doddy, paternal grandfather: Marion Doddy, and his favorite Uncle James Williams Rogers (Boo-Coo)
