Mrs. Ebbie McNeely was called home in the early hours of January 22, 2023. Ebbie, daughter of the late Richard and Richie Carrington, and wife of the late Rudolph McNeely, was born on October 2, 1933, in Collin County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Richie Carrington; husband, Rudolph McNeely and six siblings; Carrie, Coletha, Florida, Rev. Charles, Ralph, and Willie.
Ebbie dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at an early age as a member of Myrtle Springs C.M.E. Church. She later joined St. Mark C.M.E. Church and became a Stewardess. She went to school at Navado Public School and graduated and moved to Longview, Texas where she met her husband Rudolph McNeely of more than 20 years. She worked at Good Shepherd hospital as a Physical Therapy Assistant and retired after 20 years. She loved her career and the people she worked with. She also had a love for reading, watching sports, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
