Obituary

Ms. Faye Sue Fletcher Davis was born December 25, 1943, to the late Bazaree Allen and the late Mozell Cummings Allen in Pittsburg, Texas.

She attended and graduated from Frederick Douglass High School, Pittsburg, Texas. Ms. Faye accepted the Lord at an early age and was a faithful member of Hickory Hill C.M.E. Church, Pittsburg, Texas.  On May 7, 1961 she united in holy matrimony to the late Robert Fletcher, and to this union five children were born. Later in 1983 she married the late William Jefferson of Houston, Texas, and to this union no children were born. On September 6, 1990, Ms. Faye married the late Archie Davis until his death July 15, 2009, there were no children born to this union.

On Saturday, June 3, 2023, Ms. Faye S. Fletcher Davis departed this life and gained her wings at her home in Pittsburg, Texas surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Ms. Faye leaves to cherish her memories five children. Daughter, Tonya Allen of Shreveport, LA; four sons; Victor Fletcher of Longview, TX; Robert Fletcher of Pittsburg, TX; Dewayne Fletcher and daughter-in-law, Seleria Fletcher of Richmond, TX; and Swynn Fletcher and daughter-in-law, Tamara Fletcher of Longview, TX: two sisters, Barbara Lemons and Bettie Allen both of Pittsburg, TX; eleven grandchildren, Aishia Allen, Samedra Fletcher, LaToya Hopkins, Chris Fletcher, Victor Fletcher, Jr. Tanisha Fletcher, Ontario Fletcher, Everett Fletcher, Jr. Desmond Fletcher, Sionna Fletcher, Enisent Fletcher, and Elise Fletcher. Six great grandchildren, DeQuaveon Douglas, Trenecia Allen, Azaria Fletcher, Madison Fletcher, Alexandra Edney, Isaiah Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ms. Faye S. Fletcher Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Bazaree Allen and Mozell Cummings Allen. Husbands, Robert Fletcher, William Jefferson and Archie Davis, brothers, James Edward Allen and James Earl Allen, sisters, Ella Mae Allen, Hazel Baker, Jeraldine Peoples, Lena Mitchell, two grandchildren, Sederick Fletcher and Teborah Fletcher.

She will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
