Frager Lamar Armour “Shank” was born on June 22, 1978, in Pittsburg, Texas, to the parentage of the late Frager M. Armour and Debra Armour. He was the first of four children. Mr. Frager gracefully gained his wings and reunited with his heavenly family on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, in Tyler, TX. He was 45 years old and a beautiful person inside and out. He was known as “Shank” by many. Shank would light up any room, and he cared so deeply for his family and friends. He was so kind and made an impact on many lives throughout his life. Shank was a pit master and had a love for horses and trucks, he will forever be missed.
Mr. Armour was a graduate of Pittsburg High School (class of 1997), and he entered the workforce at a young age. He worked as a Maintenance & Environmental Director for Pittsburg Nursing center for over 26 years. Shank was a very hard worker and the epitome of a dedicated, devoted, and loyal employee, which are the same values he instilled in his children.
On March 24, 2017, he married his loving wife, Na’Dasha Armour. He was a loving father who leaves 11 children to cherish his memories: Three daughters, Alexandria Armour, Aniyah Bruins, Laila Traylor-Armour; Seven Sons: Deken Taylor, Frager Armour Jr. (Mia’Lissa), Jailan Armour, Keyon Traylor-Armour, Kashun Armour, Latrell Allen, JaKhi Allen, and Bonus Son Rondarrius Evans. Grandchildren, Iyonna Evans, Alanni Evans, and Ny’Asia Armour.
He is survived by his mother, Debra Armour, siblings Cory Armour and sister, LeKayla Armour. His wife, Na’Dasha Armour, his children and grandchildren; niece, Valencia Armour; Nephew, Kolton Armour, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. As he took pride within himself to serve as a father figure to them all.
Mr. Armour was preceded in death by his father, Frager M. Armour.; Sister, Sussie Armour; and Grandparents.
