George Duffey, Jr.
Obituary
Our beloved George "Dick" Duffey, Jr. was born in Greenville, Texas, on July 22, 1949 to the late George and Durine Duffey. He attended Frederick Douglass School in Pittsburg, Texas.
George spent the majority of his career working with Kansas City Railroad, and retired after 28 years. After retirement, he started his own lawn service, Duffey's Lawn Care, which he successfully ran for several years.
He was a member of Franklin Street Church of Christ in Pittsburg, Texas.
George is survived by two very special heartbeats, Marques Bruins and Schkina Rogers, both of Pittsburg,TX; four sisters, Retter Jones of Pittsburg, TX; Georgia Scott, of Dallas, TX; Linda Warmsley of Pittsburg, TX; Rochelle Thomas of Omaha, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Vera McKnight, and two brothers, Claude Duffey and Stanley Duffey.
