Heaven’s Pearly Gates opened wide for the transition of Mrs. Hazel Gaston Justice on April 18, 2023, to be with her Heavenly Father.
Mrs. Justice was born April 15, 1929, to the parentage of J.D. Brooks and Sara Clayton Smith Brooks. She attended public school in Mt. Pleasant, Texas and was a member of Sunset Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
She was once married to Alfred Gaston. To this union, eight sons were born whom she loved very much. Later, she married Bartell Justice and to this union, no children were born. She loved being around her family and friends and tending to the chores of her interest. She passed away at Titus Regional Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
She leaves to mourn her passing six sons, Terry Gaston and wife, Mary, of Texarkana, TX; Cleon Gaston of San Francisco, CA; Alton Gaston and Johnny Gaston of Mt. Pleasant, TX; Wylie Gaston of Pittsburg, TX; Tyrone Gaston and wife, Patricia, of Queen City, TX; host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters, Ivory J. Wilder of Mt. Pleasant, TX; and Tillie Ann Jimmerson of Greenville, TX; one brother, Edward Brooks, and wife, Vera, of Dallas, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husbands and two sons, Michael Gaston and Adolphus Gaston.
