Hiram Wilson Jr. was born on July 19, 1939 to Hiram Wilson Sr. and Orene Hollins Wilson of Pittsburg Texas. He was a child of God who accepted Christ at an early age.
Hiram graduated from Frederick Douglass High School in Pittsburg, Texas in 1958 and attended Wiley College in Marshall, Texas until he was drafted into the NFL by the Denver Broncos IN 1961. Hiram was a member of Griggs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge as well as a member of Frederick Douglass Alumni Association, Pittsburg, Texas
Hiram was married to Alice Faye Allen of Pittsburg, Texas for 57 years and fathered eight children.
On the 31st of March Hiram took his final rest. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and all of four of his siblings, as well as his daughter Sonja, and son Ricky.
Hiram leaves to celebrate his legacy, his soulmate and wife, Alice Faye Wilson; Daughters; Robyn of Arlington, Tx; Shelica (Larry) of Longview, TX; Sharlet (Lennard) of Plano, TX; Candy (Greg) of Wylie, TX; Monique of Dallas, TX. Son, Victor (Rhonda) of Murphy, TX. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well as a special cousin Larry Cummings who all will truly miss him.
