Kenneth Earl Waters

Mr. Kenneth Earl Waters was born July 26, 1955 to the parentage of the now late Mr. Mavis Waters, Sr. and Mrs. Eula Mae Hollins Waters in Gilmer, Texas. He graduated from Gilmer High School and attended Prairie View A& M University. At an early age, he joined Friendship Baptist Church and accepted Christ in his life. His hobbies were playing the guitar and songs for others. He enjoyed being around his family. For many years, he was employed by the City of Gilmer as a member of the Department of Ground and Maintenance. Also, he worked for Pilgrim Pride Farm of Pittsburg, Texas. Mr. Waters departed this life Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Focus Care of Gilmer, Texas. He leaves to cherish his memories, five brothers, Johnny Fred Waters and wife, Ora, of Austin, TX; Andrew Lee Waters and wife, Teleda, Mavis Waters, Jr. Russell Waters, and Harvey Waters, all of Gilmer, TX; two sisters, Tonie Marie Waters of Arlington, TX; Paulette Turner and husband, Freddie, of Gilmer, TX; two aunts, Gertie Lee Arterberry and husband, Robert, of Dallas, TX; Carrie Mae Waters of Houston, TX; two uncles, Nathaniel Hollins and Daniel Hollins of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and other relatives not mentioned as a survivor
