Ken was born September 21, 1971, to Algin and Barbara Hawkins.
Kenya a devoted father, son, uncle, and brother and was loved by all. He received his education from Kashmere Sr High School. Ken raised his children in a faith-based environment at Greater Bible Way Missionary Church where he was taught the word of God. Ken enjoyed basketball and football with Green Bay being his favorite team. Ken was known for being a jack of all trades.
Kenya leaves behind his children Ashley Baylor, Brandon Hawkins, I’torriea Hawkins, Brittany -Hawkins(Chris)Drake, ,Labarous Hawkins, Sir Charles Perkins, Cher’kenya Hawkins, Astaria Smith, Jasmine Wilson-Ross (Laron), and Bradford Lewis; his mother Barbara Hawkins, sisters Tonza Hawkins, brothers Damon Hawkins (Lashanta),Torey (Sherrill) Hawkins, and Sarah Wright (Terrell); Godmother Mavis Henderson, Goddaughter Whitley Hampton and Godson Trey Walker; and extended family who loved and was loved by Ken: Cheryl, Tina ,Sidney, Chun, Micheal, Nick, Billy, Charles, Rolinda, Lisa, Bobby Joe and his special Friend Tish.
Ken had 13 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by death by his dad Algin Hawkins, his Grandparents, brothers Ricardo Hawkins, Algin “Jimmy”Hawkins Jr., sister Chuntania Hawkins and daughter Alexis Johnson and a host of other family members.
