Obituary

Mrs. Lorene Moore was born June 30, 1934 to the parentage of 

Mr. Joe Burns and Mrs. Willie Mae Harkey Burns in Leesburg, Texas. She graduated from Frederick Douglass High School and was a member of St. Stephens A.M.E. Church in Pittsburg, Texas.


She was once married to Mr. Walter Moore, whom preceded her in death. To this union, a son was born, Walter Glenn Moore. She loved her family dearly.


She passed away November 15, 2022 at Pleasant Springs Healthcare in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Walter Glenn Moore and wife, Betty, of Pittsburg, TX; three grandchildren, Agatha Lorraine Thomas and husband, Byron, and LaGlenda Mae Rockwell and husband, Bruce, of Pittsburg, TX; LaToyota Moore of Dallas, TX; four great grandchildren, TaLiyah Rockwell, JaLyssa Johnson, Mya Rockwell, and Alexis Thomas, all of Pittsburg, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
