Netechia Hope Ray was born April 12, 1974, to the late Lacy Pruitt and Anita Louise Ray in Winnsboro, Texas. She was raised by her grandparents, the late Charles and Betty Ivery. She attended school in Union Hill and worked many years with Pilgrim's Pride Corporation. She was united in marriage with Alton Hashaway for 32 years and to that union two children were born. Darieous and Davarious Hashaway were her pride and joy. She was a faithful member of St. Matthew house of worship in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She loved to fish, cook, and shop.
Netechia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty and Charles Ivery and her brother, Gerald Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Alton Hashaway; two sons: Darieous and Davarious Hashaway, all of Pittsburg, Texas; three sisters: Shantealle Ray of Athens, Alabama, Stacy Pruitt and Kamesha (Steven) Ford, both of Dallas, Texas; two brothers: Lacy Pruitt, Jr. of Dallas, Texas and Rickkey (Helen) Ray of Pittsburg, Texas; brother-in-law: Johnny (Rhoda) Hashaway of Pittsburg, Texas; sister-in-law: Marylin Madlock of Bossier city, LA.; aunts and uncles: Willie (Joyce) Roney, Glenda (LH) Hashaway, Robert (Sandra) Hashaway, Richard Joe (Marilyn) Hashaway, Charles Howard (Loretta) Hashaway, Pam (Kaylan) Owens; nephews: Robert Carter, Jeremiah Skinner, Alexander Ray, Remington Madlock, Natavis Lawton, Naterric Lawton, Rickkey Ray, II, Markeithan Cleveland, Cameron Ray, Javen Barnhart, and Carter Ward; nieces: Zenetta Ray, Brittany Byrd, Brandy Doddy, and Joslyn Barhart, and a host of other relatives and friends.
