Mrs. Nona Faye Jennings Rush was born January 11, 1943, to the parentage of the now late Mr. Buster “Cat” Jennings, Sr. and Mrs. Loretta Falls Jennings in Leesburg, Texas. She graduated from Frederick Douglass High School, Pittsburg, Texas. Her church affiliation was IBOC Church, Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Rush departed this life Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Dallas Regional Medical Center, Mesquite, Texas. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Sheila Rush of Dallas, TX; sons, Reverend Michael Rush of Pittsburg, TX; Leroy Rush and Corey Rush both of Dallas, TX; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sisters, Sadie Sayles of Dallas, TX; Loretta Gadlin of Pittsburg, TX; Albertine Jennings-Fearrington, and husband, Melvin of Moore, OK; brothers, Lee Jennings and wife, Ruth, Jackie Jennings and wife, Karen, Dewayne Jennings, and Lenzie Jennings of Dallas, TX; Tommie Jennings of Leesburg, TX; Robert Jennings and wife, Pamela of Oklahoma City, OK; aunts, Doris Coleman and Lee Jean Petty both of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Buster “Cat” Jennings, Sr. and Loretta Jennings, brother, Buster Jennings, Jr. several aunts and uncles.
