Payton Ledell Hill

Payton Ledell Hill "Dell" was born October 26, 1961, in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Payton and Mary Louise Hill. Payton gracefully gained his wings and reunited with his heavenly family on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in Pittsburg, Texas. Payton was sixty--two years old. Payton were the life to any crowd he never met a stranger. He graduated with Pittsburg High School class of 1980. April of 1982 Payton joined the Texas Army National Guard where he served for seventeen years.

He leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife, Hazel Hill of Pittsburg, Texas; two sons, Christopher Fluellen and Derrick Fluellen of Pittsburg, Texas; one daughter, Asya Hill of Pittsburg, Texas; seventeen grandchildren, six sisters, Debbie Lowe (James) of Sherman, Texas; Jesse Hill and Vivian Hill of Bremerton Washington; Nettie Jordan (Kevin) Wichita Falls, Texas; Evelyn Scott (Robert) of Pittsburg, Texas and Rosemary Hill of Dallas Texas; one brother, Calvin Hill of Alexandria Louisiana· He leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Willie Raymond Smith, Wilbur Ray Thomas and Albert Francis Hill, two sisters, Donna Lee Hill and Jean Renee Hill.
