Vincent Lovelace was born February 23, 1954 to the parentage of Robert Thomas Lovelace and Louise Lovelace in Greenville, Texas. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and attended Sheppard Street Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant Texas.
In the 71 years that Robert lived, he was so many things to so many people. He was a son, brother, husband, dad, uncle, hero, and friend. He was genuinely a good person, always looking out for others, lending a listening ear, or his arms for a hug.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army from 1975 until 1976 at Fort Lee, Virginia, achieving the rank of Private Second Class. His military career took him to various parts of the world, where he earned numerous commendations for his bravery and leadership. His commitment to his country was unwavering, and he was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. He was presented a certificate of congratulations for his achievement of outstanding citizenship in his community for his country.
Robert passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Hospice of Texarkana, Texarkana, Texas. He leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter: Romeki Rochelle Lovelace Mason of Lone Star. Texas; two grandchildren, Darryl Mason, Jr., and Sakinah Mason; sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Terry) Gaston of Texarkana, TX; nephews, Marcus Lovelace and Eddie Lovelace of Dallas, Texas; Montego Gaston of Harker Heights, TX; and Santigo Gaston of Dallas, TX; nieces, Carmen Lovelace, Shelby Lovelace, and Jessica Lovelace, and a host of other nieces, his cousin, Dwight Traylor, other cousins, relatives, and friends. His first wife, Sharon Lovelace, never stopped loving him.
He is preceded in death by his parent, Robert and Louise Lovelace, and his brother, Eddie Lovelace, and grandparents.
