Susie Mae Curlin

Mrs. Susie Mae Curlin was born September 20, 1940 to Mr. Bernice Henry and Mrs. Sadie Fletcher Henry in Winnsboro, Texas. She attended Dunbar Elementary School in Winnsboro, Texas, W.B. Clark High School in Quitman, Texas, and graduated from Frederick Douglass High School in the year of 1960. She was a member of Munger Avenue Baptist Church for forty years.

She married Mr. Willie Harold Curlin where they enjoyed each other’s company for forty-one years.

Mrs. Curlin passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. She leaves to mourn her passing, her son, David Curlin, of Dallas, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Willie Harold Curlin, Jr., and two children, a girl and a boy, Toodie and Terry, in a tragic apartment fire, and all her siblings.
