Wanda Faye (Craddock) Hashaway

Wanda Faye Craddock was born in Dallas, Texas on November 14, 1958, to Harold Eugene Craddock and Alice F. Ray Grant. She grew up and attended school in Pittsburg, Texas and was a member of St. Stephen A.M.E. Church in Pittsburg, Texas along side her late husband, Billy Hashaway Sr.  

Wanda loves singing songs of God, testifying to His goodness, uplifting people, and planting flowers around her yard and around her church. She didn’t meet a stranger and truly loved people. Wanda would depart her earthly body on June 28, 2023, at UT Health East Texas in Tyler, Texas.

Wanda leaves to cherish her memories, daughters; Christie (Rodderick) Washington of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Takisha (Cornell) Collins of Dallas, mother, Alice F. Ray Grant of Pittsburg, TX and father Harold E. Craddock of Dallas, TX; Stepchildren, Toni Hashaway and Billy (Danita) Hashaway Sr. of Pittsburg, TX; grandchildren, Destinie Jones, Djuan Jones, Damen Jones, Christavion Brown and Jordan Collins; great grandchildren, Malykah Starks, Apollo Starks, Aveena Starks and Genesis Brown; sisters, Vera Craddock and Marilyn (James) Henderson and sister-n-law, Donna Craddock, all of Pittsburg, TX; brothers, Kenneth Grant, J. Derrick Grant, and Robert Grant of Pittsburg, TX; aunt, Bonnie Ray Linwood and uncle, Willie B. Ray and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hashaway Sr., mother, Alice F. Ray Grant, father, Harold Eugene Craddock, stepfather, Joe Junior Grant, brothers, Richard Craddock and Joe Kevin Grant and her grandparents.
